With the aim of redefining the industry standards for grip and durability, Michelin and Camper have teamed up in a partnership, the result of which is a state-of-the-art sneaker, which combines advanced strength and technical experience for a new generation of urban footwear: the Rolling MICHELIN Pilot Sport.
The sole is inspired by the family of the Michelin Pilot tires, with the same standards of grip of the new MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 SUV tires just presented. On the occasion of the launch in Lisbon, Michelin revealed the limited edition with Camper, limited to only 500 pieces; the Michelin colours are characteristic – white, blue and yellow for the sole, the upper multi-material black on black as on the tire, and the unmistakable Michelin Man on the back of the shoe, fresh from its 120th anniversary and named icon of the millennium.
The Camper’s Rolling by Michelin are available from March 15th in 11 European Camper stores: Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, Copenhagen, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, London, Lisbon, Monaco, Vienna, Zurich and online on Camper.com.
But the partnership between the Majorcan footwear company and MICHELIN Soles is more than that; it has started last season with a unisex collection made up of over 20 variants, and is set to continue with a full spring collection in 2019.
