Hawkers: from Kickstarter to licensed limited editions

Sunglasses shouldn’t be that expensive. That’s why 4 friends in Spain decided to start their revolution, and thanks to Kickstarter , Hawkers Co. now disrupts the market, trying to put an end to the monopoly by creating the most awesome quality sunglasses at a fair price.

Since 2013 Hawkers did a great job, now grossing 45 mio euro in 50 countries, selling via the internet sunglasses at some 30/35 euro each. From a marketing standpoint, they act now like the big boys, obviously in their own measure. Partnering with Mercedes Benz, DOPE, sponsoring Los Angleles Lakers, and – collaborating with brands through limited editions, the new fashion and accessories market mantra.

Like this one with Lotto Leggenda, just announced some days ago. A new retro style eyewear collection, Hawkers x Lotto is inspired by the urban models of the Italian brand’s trainers and its sporting soul. These 3 special versions of Hawkers’ bestseller model are retailed at 40 € . Upscaled and limited, just like all co-branded collaborations are designed.
