Montegrappa celebrates the 70th anniversary of Formula 1

Ever since its creation in 1950, Formula 1 has personified courage, innovation and the desire to win. Now that these values set the parameters for a high-tech rebuild undertaken for motorsport’s main event, the luxury pens brand Montegrappa pays homage to 70 years of Formula 1 by creating a special edition: the F1 Seventy. 

Created by merging titanium and carbon fiber that promise high-level performance in the field of writing, comparable only to those of the most exciting sport ever, this special edition adds up to the number of “objects of desire” that Montegrappa is releasing frequently.

Only 100 copies were made, in two different models: roller or fountain pen. Speed-freaks will appreciate the slick rollerball option, while purists can feel the acceleration of the fountain pen fitted with a custom, 18K gold nib – backed by a proprietary piston-fill system that has long been the envy of rival makers. A deluxe F1 presentation case houses both models rounding up the concept with its Italian design.
