New Era caps with Monet and Van Gogh

Fashion and lifestyle brands are more and more converging towards art, especially using the classic icons. Just like Leonardo Da Vinci’s Gioconda or the Radiant Child by Keith Haring, the most immediately recognizable masterpieces are the icons that many brands find easy to deal with, regardless their historical context and art movements.

Recently, impressionist and post-impressionist art is adding its fascination to the brands creative directors and marketers. Last year Funko Pop released a Vincent Van Gogh figure (paralleled by a safer Leonardo Da Vinci), then Vans, while now New Era Caps releases a limited edition collection featuring paintings and signatures of Vincent Van Gogh and Monet.

Starry Night and Sunflower are Van Gogh’s masterpiece chosen by the streetwear caps brand, while Monet’s Water Lilies feature the Monet’s items, along with the Woman with Japanese Kimono.
The collection is available only at Japanese New Era e-store, prices around 40€ to 55€.
