De Rigo SpA, a world leader in high-end licensed eyewear, among the new 2016 collections presented a very special capsule collection. Anastacia, the famous American pop star has teamed up with the brand Blumarine, licensed to De Rigo, to create a collection of glasses and sunglasses.
This collaboration brings together Anastacia’s passion for eyewear, one of her favourite accessories, and her longstanding friendship with the Italian fashion brand. Three models of shades, each with lens and colour variants, characterised by modern design, precious small sparkles and a silver A embellishment on the temples.
De Rigo Vision, worldwide licensee for Blumarine eyewear brand, has thus added value to its license creating engagement among its consumers. An interesting multilevel project composed of a product line designed with the artist, a custom case with Anastacia’s autograph and communication materials for the stores. Moreover, for the cover of her single “Take this chance”, Anastacia wears her Blumarine SBM668S model, a pair of spectacles with a round shape and shaded lenses, the favourite of the singer.
In a sector where licenses rule the roost, and where the collections just follow the market trends, it’s even more necessary to innovate with special projects to shake the market. Who has a long-term “vision”, has already started moving towards collaborations and communication projects, rather than remaining anchored to a consolidated but probably declining licensing model.
