Aston Martin just announced at the Geneva International Motor Show its choice of TAG Heuer as its new Official Partner.
A symbol of British luxury and elegance, the iconic sports car manufacturer has chosen TAG Heuer for its racing team, Aston Martin Racing. The Swiss watchmaker achieves its come-back in the World Endurance Championship.
Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin, and Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of TAG Heuer unveiled at Geneva Motorshow the new Vantage GTE bearing TAG Heuer colors, which will compete during the next 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Part of the deal includes the very awaited and exclusive Aston Martin Valkyrie, a road sports car as powerful as luxurious, developed with Red Bull Racing Team, where Tag Heuer is Official Wath. Aston Martin is since January 2018 also title sponsor of the Formula 1 Red Bull Team.
On the other side, Tag Heuer is launching two Aston Martin limited editions: Carrera 01 Aston Martin Special Edition, priced at $6,550, and an “entry point” Formula 1 Aston Martin Special Edition priced $1,550. Both models are not standard etidions embellished with a logo, but aesthetically influenced by the elements of the cars, like in the different lugs, and the piston-shaped pushers.
As “luxury, quality, beautiful pieces, innovation, history, emotion and performance” as Tag –Heuer’s Jean-Claude Biver puts it, are the key elements of both brands.
