Pursuing the strategy of keeping the pace with its fan base and catering to new consumer segments, Moleskine lauches at least two limited editions per year.
In this scope, Moleskine’s new limited collection of notebooks featuring the Minions get on the shelves just when the world famous characters are coming to the big screens once again with their upcoming movie on August 24th 2017!
Launched on July 15th 2017, in collaboration with Universal, both Moleskine and Minions’ fans are due to go absolutely bananas. The collection, two small and two large sizes of notebooks, features the standard Minions’ colors, blue and yellow and their famous gimmerish. Besides, the Minions are as well included as add-ons stickers.
This collection is designed to cater to a broader audience (and it is probably more obvious) compared to other Moleskine limited editions, like Peter Pan’s or Alice in Wonderland original drawings. But this way of using mainstreams characters and niche icons altogether for a systematic launch of limited editions is a powerful example of how the collaboration and licensing platforms can deliver the consumer some really remarkable products and stay in tune with the audience.
