Milan has just come back to its usual routine after one of the carziest week of the year.
As promised in our review from Fuorisalone, we would like to give you now an overview of the licensing projects and collaborations that were presented during the International Furinishing Exhibition (Salone del Mobile), with some small brand intrusion that caught our attention just for their attitude to design.
In general, we have to say that, as always, the fashion brands are the real stars of classic luxury area. Even though, sometime it’s difficult to recognize the characteristics that should distinguish one brand from another, just by looking the refined details that are proposed for these collection. In other cases, instead, the execution and the declination in design objects of the brand’s most iconic symbols, makes those products absolutely unique.
Among the news of this edition, we find the collaboration between Somma 1867 and Twinset, launching the first home collection of the brand, with fine textiles for bedroom and bathroom.
Diesel Living presented in a common space its increasingly rich home line, thanks to the collaboration with Foscarini, Scavolini, Moroso, Seletti, Berti, Iris Ceramica and Mirabello (Caleffi Group).
Birkenstock presented, for the first time in Italy, its new interesting brand extension in bed industry, while altreforme gave us a taste of its special collaboration with Chupa Chups.
JC Passion adds to the license with Roberto Cavalli also Gianfranco Ferrè, while Versace, after ceasing the license with Verim, has introduced its new Home line, managed directly by the company. Among the novelties of the brand for 2017, the sofa ‘Le Jardin’ realized in jacquard fabric by Rubelli®, a limited edition of only 12 pieces signed by Donatella Versace.
In the end, we can’t not mention Poltrona Frau, which has celebrated Ferrari 70th anniversary with a special collection of office seats.
